Booking Holdings is currently undergoing a Global Finance Transformation that will drive effective finance support for business management, promote strong governance and control in the organization; and have a world-class finance organization in terms of execution and efficiency.
This role will be critical to the GBS Operations organization in assisting with the execution of critical initiatives related to process excellence. The position will have leadership responsibility and will be expected to drive change through influence, relationships, communications, and execution. This individual will have experience working between the business and Financial Technology / Financial Systems to develop standardized, streamlined, harmonized, and optimized processes with a focus on automation, scalability, and controls. In addition, this position supports the Knowledge Management content and development of new content related to processes and operational excellence. Lastly, this position will work alongside the VP and Sr Manager of GBS Operations to create and support a culture of continuous improvement, making it easier for people to work efficiently. This position requires action orientation and continual task-level contribution to the initiatives, as well as management responsibilities.
In this role you will get to:
Work alongside the VP, GBS Operations, and Sr Manager to build the foundation and foster the expansion of the group as it progresses through maturity
Lead the project scoping and planning by documenting project goals, requirements, KPIs, roadmap and main deliverables; track completion of project milestones and maintain project artifacts. Deliver presentation of materials to all levels of the organization.
Execute or engage in all GBS Operations initiatives, primarily focused on Process Operational Excellence – to increase efficiency and effectiveness, focusing on standardization, harmonization, streamlining, optimization, and control analysis of processes. Immediate assignments would include, but not limited to, project management of Process Mining projects and leading pilot implementation of new document creation tool
Work closely with an integrated team to propose, design, and deploy process improvement activities and tools. Build and manage processes, business requirements, documentation, playbook, SOPs, and repository
Support and enhance the Knowledge Management content for GBS Operations – Process Excellence, including but not limited to inventory & mapping of current state process maps, systems, taxonomies, tools, business process master list, and governance of the repository.
What you have:
5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting environment driving value and managing/supporting a wide range of initiatives
Experience working as a program or project manager on prior transformations.
Experience leading global strategic initiatives, within a shared services environment undergoing a finance transformation.
Ability to apply structured problem-solving methods to address issues and drive root cause identification
Skilled communicator and proven relationship builder, able to operate within a multitude of formal and informal networks while managing the competing interests of varied stakeholders.
Ability to work successfully with consulting teams and strategic partners to maximize value and accelerate change.
Experience operating in, and driving alignment and consensus in a complex and matrix environment
Experience working with global teams, capable of bringing together stakeholders, to align requirements and drive improvements
Proven ability to interact with and influence peers and senior management in a complex, geographically dispersed organization
Excellent presentation (written and verbal), documentation creation, and organizational skills
Ability to accommodate meetings in different time zones, as needed.
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
Familiarity with G-Suite is a plus
PMP or related certifications are a plus

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $132,300-$161,700.
