Job Overview

Booking Holdings is looking for an exceptional FinCrime Manager, to assist and support the Head of FCRM and newly established framework across Booking Holdings Inc’s global travel brands and BHFS.

The FinCrime Manager will engage and communicate effectively with colleagues and staff at BHI, BHFS and the affiliate brands.  

The FinCrime Manager will contribute and assist in fostering a culture of respect, inclusiveness and will champion the values of BHI in all aspects of their work.  He/she will oversee the effective and efficient implementation and execution of BHI’s FCRM framework across all brands and BHFS. FinCrime Manager will also serve in an advisory role for the brand’s compliance and business teams, providing assistance and support within a collaborative team to help enable secure and responsible business growth, globally. 

The role demands an individual with strong knowledge in specific relevant areas of financial crime risk management and (payments) regulation. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Reporting to the Head of FCRM, you will assist and support in strategizing, directing and advising on policy matters related to FCRM under the umbrella of the BHI family of Brands, with a particular emphasis on BHFS.

  • You will have a sound understanding of principles applicable to FCRM risk including sanctions, AML/KYC, tax evasion, and particularly payments and risk. Ideally you will also have experience in overseeing FCRM related control processes and programs either in a consultancy capacity or within a matrix organization. 

  • You will possess good business judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You will be a team-player, interested in building a best in class FCRM capability to support the expanding needs of a growing, international business.

  • You will assist the Head of FCRM in taking positions and directing BHI brands on necessary action when financial crime cases are suspected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5-8 year experience in FCRM at regulated Financial Institutions or equivalent 

  • Demonstrated experience working in cross functional teams and in complex programs and projects

  • Good knowledge of AML/KYC, Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions Screening practice

  • Affinity with the travel industry

  • Academic degree or equivalent level demonstrated in relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of payments sector / regulated financial services sector

  • Knowledge of business development and implementing corporate strategy
