The Director, Global Investigations Services, will be a key member of our Compliance & Ethics team, responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of a world-class investigation program for our incredible global business, which touches the lives of millions of people every day. The Director, Global Investigations Services, will report to the VP, Investigations and will partner closely with our brands to design, enhance, and operationalize effective compliance investigations across the business.
In this role you will get to:
Lead the design and implementation of revised governance in key areas of the investigations program, including:
in coordination with Legal, Compliance & Ethics, and other relevant stakeholders, develop, coordinate, and implement a centralized playbook for investigation best practices to be utilized globally and across brands and regions;
maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements and developments relating to investigations across diverse jurisdictions, with a focus on case management, responding to concern raisers, and documenting and reporting investigation outcomes in light of DOJ guidance, the EU Whistleblowing Directive, the UK Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, and other relevant legislation and regulator guidance;
oversee concern-raising hotline, including intake, triage, and assignment of all concerns with the ultimate goal of continuously improving the speak-up culture
review and advise on effective training and awareness materials related to investigations performed by other functions (HR, Security, etc.);
monitor the effectiveness of our investigation program in detecting, and responding to potential violations of law, regulations, or internal policies and controls; and continuously improve and maintain the investigation program consistent with published guidance on effective investigations
Lead day-to-day management of global investigation docket, including oversight of active investigations from case assignment to case closure and review and approval of case closure reports to ensure quality and consistency
Engage with senior leaders, Legal, and Compliance & Ethics stakeholders in connection with investigation progress and outcomes
Leverage technology to enhance investigation program effectiveness. Play a critical role in defining key investigation metrics and developing and deploying processes, systems, and tools to monitor, measure, and report on investigation outcomes and trends in real-time; ensure meaningful and consistent reporting of investigation metrics; drive data analysis to support improved risk assessment by compliance teams
Work across brands and with numerous stakeholders to ensure proportionate and consistent discipline, appropriate remediation, and root cause analysis in the wake of investigations
Develop investigation program presentations, dashboards, reports, and other materials for senior management, business leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
Lead, manage, and partake in other strategic initiatives and special projects as needed.
What you have:
JD or equivalent required
Experience investigating complex compliance concerns in a matrixed and cross-jurisdictional environment
Experience designing and implementing company-wide investigation best practices, including relating to the intake of concerns, communications with concern raisers, conducting interviews, and drafting investigation reports that can withstand internal and external scrutiny
Experience supporting a diverse and global team
Proven experience driving investigation excellence with large-scale global programs
Experience working on a global team, capable of delegation, team building, and strategic leadership, driving alignment and consensus
Experience selecting and working with vendors using analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and execute at strategic and tactical levels
Displays the highest levels of integrity
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentations skills and demonstrated ability to be clear and concise when communicating with global stakeholders
Proven success communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels globally
Excellent presentation skills with a polished and professional demeanor

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $201,600-$246,400.
