The Center Will Employ Roles Focused on Cybersecurity, IT and Finance, Supporting the Brands of Booking Holdings
BUCHAREST, Romania December 8, 2021 — Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), the world’s leading provider of online travel and related services, announced today the opening of a Center of Excellence, located in Bucharest, Romania. The Center serves as a hub for specialized and highly skilled talent, leading industry best practices, software development and collaboration opportunities across Cybersecurity, IT and Finance functions for Booking Holdings and its various brands and business units including: Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK, OpenTable and Rentalcars.com.
As travel continues to rebound from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center will support the increasing demands of the Company’s business and growth. The Center will employ roles in Cybersecurity, Fraud Monitoring, and IT – including software development and Finance IT – among other functions.
