This role will coordinate worldwide tax planning for the company and provide advice on the tax consequences of transactions to Brand tax teams and Booking Holdings personnel.
Responsibilities and Duties
Identifies, develops and implements tax planning strategies consistent with corporate tax objectives.
Coordinates with Brand Tax teams to provide advice to Brand personnel on the tax consequences of transactions.
Monitors and analyzes federal, state and foreign legislative, regulatory and judicial developments and communicates appropriate guidance to Booking Holdings and Brand personnel
Works with the M&A team to analyze the tax implications of proposed acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and reorganizations.
Supports tax compliance and provision functions on reporting of transactions.
Coordinates the use of outside tax consultants where appropriate.
J.D., Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with MST or LL.M preferred
15+ years corporate tax planning background in a corporate tax department and/or Big 4 accounting firm or large law firm.
Extensive experience in U.S. outbound international tax issues.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
