Recruiter will report to the Senior Manager, Human Resources and will be responsible for the Recruiting function of our Corporate Headquarters based in Norwalk, Connecticut. This role will be a key partner to our Corporate HRBP/Talent team and provide talent acquisition support and full-life cycle recruiting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Own the full-life cycle recruiting process, for all openings in the corporate office, including some senior/executive placements
Provide guidance to the hiring managers around recruitment strategy, process and legal compliance
Support various onboarding, orientation, and other initiatives, implement structured interview process and recruiting metrics/KPIs
Partner with Sr HR Manager to adjust strategy, set expectations and drive the hire/no hire decision
Assist in the selection process and ongoing management of recruitment vendors and contract negotiations (background check vendor, job boards, search aggregators, etc.)
Talent Acquisition Support:
Branding – maintain and grow the employment brand; cultivate/curate a strong and locally recognized employment brand
Social Media – own and manage employment based social media channels
Belonging champion – support all Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives
Own our ATS (Workday) work flows, dispositioning and communication creation
Provide input on workforce planning, succession planning, and other talent development or retention focused activities
Recommend new approaches and processes to continually improve Talent and Recruiting strategy
Partner with HR Team in onboarding efforts for our growing population (background check, new hire ticket generation, Workday set up and first week activities, liaise with payroll to ensure they have necessary paperwork for all new hires)
Additionally, there may be special ad hoc projects or tasks that arise from time to time
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5 years’ experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition role or other recruiting support capacity
A minimum of 2 years full life-cycle recruiting experience
Experience building out Recruiting processes
Excellent communication skills and experience partnering with leaders at all levels of the organization
Must have the ability to work at strategic, operational, and tactical levels
Knowledge of recruiting best-practices and laws governing the recruiting function
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Gmail platform
Ability to juggle and manage competing tasks and demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
Strong team player within the HRBP/Talent Team
Very limited travel, 0-5%
