Job Overview

Join the Global Privacy Team and Booking Holdings, and help us develop and execute privacy processes, including building and maintaining data inventories, data subject right request handling, and privacy-related coordination with other departments, such as marketing and HR, in order to effectively manage our privacy risks. Your role will also include enabling and delivering reporting from Booking Holdings and the Booking Holding’s consumer-facing brands on their privacy programs, which will be used for executive-level awareness and escalation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Owning BHI’s privacy operational activities, such as data inventories, privacy risk monitoring, data subject rights handling, and program policy governance

  • Supporting the BHI Privacy Team to operationalize reporting and escalation capabilities, as well as performing reporting validations from the customer-facing Brands to ensure consistency and accuracy of their reporting

  • Partnering with business departments to aid them in achieving their privacy process contributions

  • Assisting the Privacy Program Manager with day-to-day project management for privacy priorities and initiatives

  • Supporting program operational activities such as tracking and coordinating action items among business functions and/or Brand-Privacy teams, overseeing budget-to-actuals tracking

Qualifications

  • Familiar with project management fundamentals

  • 1-3 years of experience

  • Familiar with privacy programs, regulations, and/or processes

  • Experienced with establishing collaborative relationships with other business departments

  • Effective at balancing multiple tasks, self-managing time, and staying organized

  • CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, CISSP, or similar certification is desirable

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $86,000$106,000.
