Job Overview
 

Sustainability is core to Booking Holdings, and we are furthering our commitment to positively impact the world by building a vendor diversity program.  As the strategic visionary and day-to-day lead of this program, you will focus on establishing the key program building blocks to ensure equitable inclusion of diverse businesses in our vendor ecosystem.  As you grow the program across brands and globally, you will advance diverse inclusion internal commitment, enhance small/diverse vendor experience, and optimize related processes. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create, communicate, and execute the multi-year diverse vendor inclusion and development strategy, collaborating closely with procurement, brand leadership and diversity champions 

  • Be the SME and ongoing advocate for vendor diversity – champion diverse suppliers through multiple means including building internal and external sites, inclusion in sourcing events, engagement with leaders across our brands

  • Drive the change management needed to ensure program success – establish policy, process (including reporting) and training of key elements for buyers and the broader business

  • Support other ESG initiatives across our brands, including vendor engagement for sustainability (CO2 emission) reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Experience in the field (8-12 years)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build rapport and credibility with both internal and external partners, including internal senior leadership, external CEOs / C-Level leaders, and subject matter experts

  • Demonstrated change management and project management skills with flexibility to work both independently and in teams

  • Strong customer – first orientation

  • Fierce determination to succeed and ability to persevere through challenging times

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $150,300-$183,700.
