Senior Manager, Federal Income Tax Compliance

Job Title:  Senior Manager, Federal Income Tax Compliance

Reports to and Location:

The Senior Manager, Federal Income Tax Compliance will report to the VP, Tax and the position sits in our Norwalk, Connecticut headquarters.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual consolidated Federal income tax return, including responding to information requests from external accounting firm and gathering various data to support return preparation
  • Review of the Company’s annual consolidated Federal income tax return, including Forms 5471 and Form 1118
  • Manage data gathering for Country by Country annual reporting
  • Determine and calculate Federal Uncertain Tax Positions
  • Manage R&D credit studies
  • Assist with review of GILTI, Subpart F, Sec. 163(j) and BEAT calculations
  • Manage IRS audits, including responding to IDR’s with assistance from external accounting firm
  • Assist with Forms 1042 preparation and other Federal tax compliance
  • Prepare Federal estimated income tax calculations
  • Provide quarterly cash flow forecasts for Federal income taxes
  • Manage tax depreciation calculations
  • Partner with all Brands to understand business footprint to assist with identification of related Federal income tax consequences

Education and Qualifications:

  • Combination of Big 4 public accounting and publicly-traded company experience
  • BA or BS Accounting
  • Licensed CPA or MST preferred
  • Minimum 10 years professional tax experience (combined domestic/international) with emphasis on managing and reviewing large consolidated US returns with CFC’s along with managing IRS audits
  • Strong analytical ability to identify challenges, provide solutions, and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage competing priorities and internal and external deadlines
  • Positive attitude and dependable team player with strong attention to detail
  • Highly skilled in Excel. Proficient in the other Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experience with Hyperion and OneSource a plus
