The Senior IT Auditor role is part of the Global Internal Audit (GIA) team of Booking Holdings. The Senior IT Auditor will be primarily involved in planning and executing IT SOX engagements. This role will also support operational audits in the key risk areas of our business and support the preparation of key deliverables to senior management. This position will report to the Director Internal Audit in Norwalk, CT at the Booking Holdings headquarters and involves occasional travel (up to 15%).

Responsibilities and Duties
Plans and executes IT SOX control testing at Booking Holdings and its Brands.
Plans and executes operational and compliance related audits/reviews across a wide-range of topics both in IT and the business in general.
Coordinates with stakeholders such as Risk & Compliance, Tech department, External Auditors and others.
Assists in conducting risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
Documents the results of audit work in accordance with the internal audit department and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
Supports preparing audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.
Provides advice on internal control and participates in enhancing control procedures for Booking Holdings and its Brands.
Drives and promotes the continuous improvement of the internal audit function.

Excellent knowledge of risk-based auditing of various IT environments and business operations attained through a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm and / or Internal Audit function at a listed company.
Thorough understanding of the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ability to fully comply with IIA standards.
Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem solving, and timely problem escalation.
Strong analytical skills (experience with audit analytics is a plus).
Excellent audit report writing and oral communication skills (proficiency in English).
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Detail oriented but able to quickly grasp the bigger picture.
Maximum of 15% travel requirement globally based on the audit plan and project requirements.
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
CISA / CISSP or equivalent designation highly desirable.
Big 4 Experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with SAP auditing is highly desirable.
Experience with data analytics software is desirable.
