We are looking for a Workforce Analyst to join our growing HR team. This would be the first role of its kind at Booking Holdings, with the opportunity to develop and grow the scope of the role. We are looking for someone who has a passion for data and using data to inform business decisions and strategy. This role will collect, analyze and present workforce/people data to help the business make informed decisions, as well as, to meet our US regulatory and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide quantitative analysis and presentation (decks, dashboards, etc.) of various people data to identify trends in areas such as diversity & inclusion, recruitment metrics, human capital management, headcount planning, and other workforce data sets
Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to current reporting processes, find ways to automating routine data requests
Partnering with the brands to streamline and align on reporting parameters across the differing workforces
Support the broader HR team with data analytics, streamlining, macros, etc.
Enterprise wide reporting you will own or support: complete annual business and governmental reports such as EEOC report, pay data reporting, Employment Practices Liability (EPL) renewal, and more
Corporate BU reporting you will own or support: Compensation and FP&A teams to assist with updating and tracking headcount planning, including budget forecasting
Bachelor’s Degree required
3-5 years of experience
Analytical and data-driven mindset
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have SQL or other programing language, experience in managing data held in a relational database
Experience researching, analyzing and synthesizing data with minimal supervision
Experience creating compelling presentation decks in a digestible, clear and concise format (either Powerpoint or Google Slides)
Ability to see the “Big Picture”; understand, at a macro level, the key drivers and risks of a business and/or industry
Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment
High level of energy and maturity
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets – ability to perform complex formulas such as pivot tables, v-lookups, if/then statements, etc.
Proficient in Google Suite, including Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Docs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Powerpoint
Working knowledge of Tableau
