We are looking for a Program Manager to drive our strategic HR projects forward with a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), as well as other areas of critical importance to the business. This role will support the Company’s dedication to tangibly and constantly fostering DEI at Booking Holdings and brands in service of our mission of making it easier for everyone to experience the world. The Program Manager will implement and lead shared initiatives across Booking Holdings, acting as a liaison between our DEI Steering Committee, DEI workstream groups and other key collaborators, and will lead preparation of internal and external reports and publications in this domain.
This role will report to the Director, HR PMO.
In this role you will get to:
Program, Project, and Resource Planning Leadership: Implement strategic HR initiatives by developing project and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders, supervising and tracking progress, driving achievements to completion and presenting all project status and issues optimally to ensure resolution and successful project completion
Own project management of the DEI Steering Committee (SteerCo) in coordination with HR leadership and third party DEI advisor/facilitator.
Take ownership of the design and implementation of DEI programs and initiatives for our corporate business unit (~185 people), as well as support HR leadership in aligning on certain brand-wide (~20,000 people) programs, in line with Company-wide priorities and standards. Optimally partner across multiple collaborators within our brands and regions to forge alignment and deliver to enterprise needs. Keep SteerCo sufficiently advised on the status of key initiatives, projects and programs.
Coordinate with various People Analytics functions across our brands to prepare internal reports, including annual DEI report/scorecard, quarterly diversity dashboards, materials for management / Board updates and other ad hoc materials. Also support external publications such as our EEO-1 report and public disclosure on our website, annual HRC CEI survey, DEI related sections of 10-K, Proxy and Annual Sustainability Report.
Engage with external DEI organizations, forums, and networks to stay updated on standard processes, “bring the outside in” and promote our dedication to DEI externally.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree
8+ years of experience
Experience successfully delivering programs and/or multiple projects on-time, in scope, on budget
Passionate about promoting DEI, and enthusiastic about continued personal learning
Experience operating in a global environment with appreciation of cultural differences, and ability to build consensus across geographies and business units
Experience building business cases and presenting to various stakeholders, including senior leadership
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (research, writing, editing, presentation, speaking) with the ability to quickly build credibility and influence
Self motivated and successful in operating independently with limited oversight
Analytical approach, with ability to draw actionable insights from data

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $130,500-$159,500.
