Booking Holdings Financial Services UK (hereinafter “BHFSUK”) is based in London, UK and provides financial services in the form of payment services and e-money products across all the brands. Manage payment products and technical operations in a regulated environment, working with outsourced service providers to ensure continuous service improvements.
Demonstrating ethical leadership and business integrity.
Managing and implementing business and technical operations.
Engaging and communicating effectively with colleagues, investors, customers, suppliers, regulators and other internal and external stakeholders.
Writing, reviewing, maintaining and updating technical and non-technical documents such as technical requirements, service level agreements, policies, procedures and processes.
Management and oversight of operational and security incidents affecting BHFSUK, liaising with outsourced service providers to ensure effective problem management and prevention of recurrence.
Review of forward schedule of change, future planning, and approval of material changes affecting BHFS.
Working with the Brands’ product and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of workflow practices, including identifying and resolving any issues and risks that may arise.
Contribute to the development of the technology strategy and agenda of BHFSUK.
Supporting the completion of audits and annual risk assessments.
Supporting the outsourcing and vendor management process, including regular review of MI reports and SLAs.
Overseeing delivery of all new products and technology, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times.
Responding to major incident escalations, which could occur during or outside office hours.
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Information Systems.
Minimum 3-4 years as a product manager and/or technical lead.
Experience in working in a regulated financial services environment is a distinct advantage.
Experience of working in the Payments industry is preferable.
Experience of working as a technical or solution architect is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
Succinct communicator – ability to break down complex issues and communicate at all levels in the organization.
Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
Highly motivated. Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
Solution driven with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Strong knowledge of IT Standard and Control frameworks such as ITIL and NIST.
Demonstrable knowledge of ISO/IEC 20000 and ISO/IEC27001 is preferable.
Infrequent non-essential international travel.
