The role of Office Manager/Health & Safety Officer will organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures while creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and health and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
Organize the new office layout and organize office operations and procedures
Maintain the office condition and order all supplies and equipment
Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
Manage office G&A budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
Provide general support to visitors
Book transport and accommodation and arranging appointments for CEO and executive team
Deal with correspondence, complaints and queries and prepare letters, presentations and reports
Develop, maintain and protect health and safety standards in accordance with current health and safety legislation
Use knowledge and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace
Responsible for ensuring that employers and employees comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to
Plan, implement, monitor and review protective and preventive safety measures
Carry out risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and consider how risks could be reduced
Manage mobile phone relationship with Vodafone including billing, upgrades, new joiners, replacement phones
Process expenses for CEO and Executive team
