This role will report to the VP, Tax Planning and be focused on worldwide tax planning for the company and provide advice on the tax consequences of transactions to Brand tax teams and Booking Holdings personnel.
In this role you will get to:
Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing tax planning strategies in connection with corporate/business objectives and projects, such as those related to BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits
Partner with all Brands to understand the business footprint, and coordinate with Brand tax teams to provide corporate tax support on transactions and ensure consistent positions across Brands on similar tax issues
Monitor and analyze federal, state, and foreign legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments
Work with and provide tax support to the Legal, M&A, Treasury, and Accounting teams on transactions, including intercompany arrangements and related agreements
Partner with and support tax compliance and provision, transfer pricing, and indirect tax functions on treatment and reporting of transactions
Coordinate the use of outside tax consultants where appropriate, and monitor and review their progress and work product to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables
What you have:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
Minimum of 5 years of professional tax experience in a corporate tax department or large law firm and/or Big 4 accounting firm
Experience in U.S. outbound international tax issues
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage competing priorities and internal and external deadlines
Positive attitude and dependable team player with strong attention to detail
Highly skilled in Excel. Proficient in other Microsoft Office and Google suite of products

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $132,300-$161,700.
