Job Overview

We are looking for a Workday expert to oversee cross-brand system configurations, ensuring consistency and compliance for administration of benefit programs.  This role will audit existing configurations and provide guidance and support to resolve issues, execute required reporting, and enact new implementations across systems such as Workday, ADP, and in coordination with external vendor systems.  2 or more years of Workday experience required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversees and monitors cross-brand Workday benefits configurations to ensure consistency and compliance for administration of benefits programs (enrollment events, eligibility rules, evidence of insurability processing, integrations, etc.)

  • Creates and maintains best-practice guide for Workday configurations and benefits administration processes to serve as a training and reference tool.

  • Coordinates with all brand HRIS and benefits teams regarding benefits reporting, including requirement overviews, documentation of submissions, and acting as the liaison to external vendors. Includes but is not limited to ACA reporting and State Minimum Essential Coverage reporting.

  • Operates as BHI HR liaison to HRIS Team and Workday Cloud Management consultants on all open BHI HR issues and projects, including business need understanding, solution plan review, and user testing.

  • Proactively identifies areas of risk in existing process/system configurations and partners with relevant stakeholders on process improvements.

  • Executes HR user audits with benefit vendors.

  • Additional system-related support to Booking Holdings HR, as needed.


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3-5 years experience as an HRIS Analyst/Specialist

  • 2+ years experience with Workday required

  • Knowledge of HCM integration issues and experience working with third party system integrations and secure file transfers (SFTP, FTP, and PGP encryption)

  • Ability to recognize and differentiate among the needs and priorities of stakeholders.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills. 

  • Attention to detail with strong technical and analytical skills. 

  • Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $111,600 – $136,400.
