Booking Holdings Financial Services (hereinafter “BHFS”) is based in Dublin, Ireland and provides financial services in the form of payment services and e-money products across all the brands. The role of Credit Manager for BHFS includes overseeing the granting of credit and assessment of all contingent liability exposure of all customers within the group’s responsibility. This includes calculation of credit exposures for new customers in the boarding process, and annual review and periodic review of all customers with continual review and updating of the credit exposure. The role includes strict enforcement of the credit policy, and protecting the company’s assets from risk of loss due to credit risk, chargeback exposure, and fraud risk, and assessing the need for collateral. It also includes managing a team of analysts and specialists and forecasting credit loss. This role will be remote in Ireland until the office opens in Dublin.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform financial analysis based on financial statements and forecasts.
Assess business models in the context of due diligence and compliance with the guidelines of the NCA and payment institutions.
Oversee and manage a team of Risk Analysts and the key Risk Management functions of the team, including underwriting, transaction monitoring, chargebacks and annual periodic reviews.
Assess and interpret Credit Bureau Reports.
Evaluate & manage collateral and reserve accounts.
Manage communication with sales channels and partners regarding new applications.
Proactively monitor the Customer Portfolio.
Verify adherence to compliance requirements and credit guidelines.
Complete monthly reporting.
Review credit of the portfolio periodically.
Answer and resolve risk management and compliance inquiries.
Train partners and customers on risk management processes.
Calculate reserves/collaterals based on credit exposure.
Manage Credit Policy in line with corporate requirements.
