The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will report to the Director, Executive & Equity Compensation in our Norwalk, CT office.
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will support the SVP HR, Director, Executive & Equity Compensation and Managers on the Compensation & Benefits Teams to provide analysis and insight on executive and broad -based compensation and benefit programs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support the Director in the production of analysis and documentation to be shared with senior leadership and Board Directors including, but not limited to: Compensation Committee material, presentations for Executive Leadership meetings and critical shareholder information such as the annual proxy.
Play lead role in collaborating with our HR colleagues across the Brands and with internal Booking Holdings partners (Finance, Legal) to ensure efficient data collection and data management with respect to our short term (bonus) and long term (stock) incentives; partner with Corporate FP&A during bonus budgeting and payout processes.
Perform analyses for Retirement Plan and Benefits Managers to support internal reviews, plan audits, analyses and management presentations. Work across brands to collect timely and accurate information.
Manage data collection and submission for third party compensation surveys; leverage survey results to provide analysis and make recommendations.
Be the primary resource for ad hoc and more structured (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) analysis and reporting across the compensation and benefit plans for our employees.
Review current data management / reporting /analyses and make recommendations for change.
Bachelor’s degree – preferably finance/ business/analytics based.
Exceptional skill level in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint; ability to leverage other analytical and presentational software (Tableau) desirable; experience of Workday also desirable.
2 -4 years’ experience in an analytical role; 3-5 years overall experience in a corporate office environment desirable.
Prior work experience within compensation and/or benefits or financial analysis desirable
Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational and project management skills.
Data-mining, report creation and strong excel skills.
Financial acumen, strong attention to detail, project management.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive compensation and employee information with complete discretion
